Financial Aid
At Emerson Waldorf School, we work together to promote equity and inclusion for all community members, and to provide opportunities for deeper connections within our school and wider communities.
We offer Financial Aid for qualified students to attend Emerson Waldorf School who might not otherwise be able to attend for financial reasons.
We utilize TADS for the application process to provide thorough reviews and an equitable award methodology. Emerson Waldorf School’s Financial Aid Committee uses information and recommendations from TADS, along with your short answer responses and school policies, to determine the amount of Financial Aid to award. Families must reapply for financial aid each school year.
Financial Aid applications are available online beginning in mid-December for the following school year and are due on January 30. The committee sends decision letters from mid-February to March. Late applicants are accepted and aid will be granted on a rolling basis, however, the majority of available Financial Aid is granted in February and March.
The maximum amount awarded is 50% of tuition.
Financial Aid does not cover other school fees such as the new student enrollment fee, curriculum trips, athletics, after school care, etc. Financial Aid is not available for Parent-Child or Summer Camp.
Admissions decisions are made independently of decisions to award Financial Aid.
